What to know about Traffic Survival School
How long is the class?
Arizona Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Division (MVD) requires eight hours of instruction. Class is a single one 8-hour day class beginning at 8:00 AM and finishing at 4:30 PM. Lunch is approximately noon to 12:30.
What do I bring to class?
On the day of class bring your TSS information, AZ Drivers License or AZ State ID, $175 cash or money order and an awesome disposition 🙂 Please know food and drinks are welcomed. You may want to bring a sweater or jacket.
Is TSS the same as Defensive Driving School?
No. Defensive Driving School is for individuals who received a ticket and wish to attend a class to avoid paying for and the points associated with the violation. TSS is for individuals who have already been convicted and assessed points and now received a letter from Arizona Chapter National Safety Council (ACNSC)/ADOT Motor Vehicle Division (MVD) mandating a TSS class. We do not offer Defensive Driving.
